These audio clips were recorded using: RS Guitars RS Classic, Reissue VOX AC30 TBX Amplifier, Fryer Treble Booster, Rangemaster Treble Booster, English sixpence and 9-42 gauge strings.

The clips were recorded by placing a microphone approximately 5-6 feet from the front of the amplifier primarily due to the fact that the VOX is so damn loud! Unless noted differently, the VOX was run at full volume to achieve maximum overdrive, which sounds great, but is a bit hard to control at the mixing board. The stock valves in the VOX AC30 were replaced with Harma EL84's and Mullard 12AX7's. They contribute significantly to the rich tone. The sounds that were put on tape, with the exception of the Bohemian Rhapsody and Somebody To Love clips, were not altered at all. The latter 2 clips received a bit of mid range boost at the board, simply because the recording session was very rushed and all clips were recorded with the same amp eq settings and mike placement.

All of the above sound clips recorded and provided by RS Classic customer Joe Millo. Many thanks go out to him.
